Haha I know this is nothing for you TT guys, you could probably spin the tires right THROUGH 3rd, but I was very pleasantly surprised when I found out tonight that I could chirp the tires shifting into 3rd. My tires chirp into 2nd all the time, but Ive never tried 3rd. Not bad for an NA, eh? Mine's stock, too! I just found this out because I got out of F&F, and I felt like driving fast. I RARELY drive my car fast, I really baby the hell out of it. I like it that way, so when I do floor it, it still feels fast:) It just makes me feel special. Hearing tires spin at 60mph, people think I am faster than I am :) So Im thinking, maybe my car is running just fine afterall?
But one question: It has been idling high lately, like 1700-1800 rpm, but only sometimes. It usually goes back down to normal (900-1000) after it idles high. It only idles high for a few minutes after I start the car. What would cause this? Stuck throttle cable or something? Thanks!
